   1 6-year-old Elias Garcia Tinajero was shot on         Saturday afternoon and died in a Denver                                               cemetery. At the Grandview Dog Park in southeast Aurora, the Aurora Police Department is investigating an unintentional death following the death of one person in an explosion. The incident near Quincy Reservoir on the south side of East Quincy Avenue close to South Pitkin Street is being looked into by the police.

  Arvada Center's 'The Great Comet' a celebration of home-grown high school talent The Bobby G Awards, presented by the Denver Center for the Performing Arts since 2014, honor exceptional success in Colorado high school theater. This program has demonstrated the importance of arts education in Colorado high schools over time. Because our schools are not only turning out a large number of extraordinarily gifted students, but they are also obviously receiving excellent instruction. One example is the lively, electropop musical "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812," which is currently being presented by the Arvada Center.   Kunsmiller students walkout out of class over teacher cuts, again For the second time in less than two weeks, Denver Public School students marched out of class with placards to protest teacher cuts. Last week, more than 100 students at the Denver School of the Arts, or DSA, walked out of class over a $482,000 budget shortfall next year prompted school leaders to cut social worker and teacher positions amid declining enrollment, but not any administrative staff. Students at Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy followed suit on Thursday.
